Previous First Lady Michelle Obama had some harsh comments for men in general with respect to how they are raised. Obama stated her remarks in Chicago amid the Obama Foundation worldwide event.
First she mentioned the shooting in Florida and stated: “This is clearly our president’s fault. These shootings are happening constantly since he became our president.”
Then she went on with the way we raise our children: “It’s like the problem in the world today is we love our boys, and we raise our girls,” she stated.
“We raise them to be strong, and sometimes we take care not to hurt men — and I think we pay for that a little bit.”
Alluding to the rape charges that are concerning a lot of big names in Hollywood including actors and producers, Obama stated that ladies consider each other responsible, as per Fox News.
“Y’all should get you some friends,” Obama proceeded.
“And talk to each other, because that’s the other thing [women] do — we straighten each other out on some things, our girlfriends.”
The previous first woman went ahead to state that ladies are responsible for men feeling “entitled”and “self-righteous” in light of the fact that ladies “nurture men.”
“Are we protecting our men too much so they feel a little entitled and … self-righteous sometimes? But, that’s kind of on us, too, as women and mothers, as we nurture men and push girls to be perfect,” she concluded.
